Lowering my 1988 3/4 ton 2wd Burb

So i got a BONE stock 3/4 ton 2wd Suburban recently... Tomorrow I am putting on a new wheels and tires..275/45/20s ...and removing the "grandpa" running boards... Soon after on the list is the adding of 3" dropped spindles for the front and a flip kit for the rear. I have been told the flip kit will drop the rear about 6" The plan then is to cut front springs to level the front to the rear.

Heres my question.... I think this will make a definite improvement in the stance...but wont get it to where I ultimately would like it to be. What would you guys suggest the next move be? Bags? Can bags be added tot he static drop I have planned? I just dont want to spend money on static drop items that I wont be able to build upon when dropping it further.

Ideas? Thoughts?
