No deep cycle just regular battery. The cooling effect after the motor is shut off is min. so if everything is working like it should the temp will be close to the 180* so that the fans only run for a few seconds after the motor is off.
I have drove them both and waited to see how they do and the most time the fan stayed on was 1 minute.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
