To revive this thread.

I have the backup connector under my dash. Two dark green wires into one side and two light green on the other side.

The dark green wires are hot when I turn on accessories or the ignition

The light green wires go back to the backup lights.

When I jumper the connector and turn on the key the backup lights come on.

I have the SM465 manual so I do not have the column mounted switch. There is a switch that mounts in the transmission and there is a wire that connects to it (the harness is a brand new American Autowire).

I do not know where that connector under the dash is supposed to go. The backup lights do not work even with the harness plugged into the transmission.

Any suggestions?
