I considered this on the 86' ranch truck we have. For only the plastic block to be swapped, you'd have to pull the pins from the rear of the block by depressing tabs on each terminal from the front side of the block.

Similar to you, I have a burned hole where the parking light fuse was (trailer wiring short). It was patched around using an inline fuse holder outside of the original fuse block.

I did replace some other terminals one at a time (collateral damage), but these were all on the load side of the fuse block - single terminals. The power side of the fuses, a lot of them are bussed together. You would have to simultaneously depress the tabs on all the terminals to get the bussed ones out. Might be able to walk them out, not sure.
