Length of SM465 and Tcase adapter?

I looked and 'think' I found the answer but wanted to check with people who know. I'm trying to find the length of an SM465 and its T-case adapter, preferably to an NP208C in a square body. Trying to figure out if my A833, out of I think an 1982 K10, 32 spline output to an NP208C, will swap for a 465 with similar output, without getting into drive shafts etc. Neither of us have the 465/208 combo to measure.

What I've come up with is the 465 plus adapter is 19 1/2". Measuring my A833 plus adapter I get 20 1/2". My assumption is that both bell housings are the same length, as my A833 bell is double drilled for both types of trans patterns. Looking at it the another way, the A833 is 26 3/4" engine face to t-case face, and 24 1/2" engine face to trans mount center line.

So is seems the tcase would sit 1" further rearward, needing new holes but the shafts might work. But it seems odd that this GM spec set up would be different length than the 465 combo.

Anyone got the 465 combo laying around they can measure?
Thanks!
