... Had mine weighed several years ago at the county yard. LWB '72 K20 was 5300# empty, with heavy spare (16" split rim & 8-ply tire) and twin saddle tanks in place, but dunno how much fuel on board.
That was after I shoveled the dirt out. It was 11,300# loaded, for a nice even 3 ton payload -- over 40+ miles of mountain highway with my wife and two young sons. I wouldn't recommend it...
