Thanks Jim! I have read your build many times and everytime I find something new. I knew I might be in trouble with the zig zag cuts, but I was chasing rust without cutting out the hinge holes. But I may order a new piece from a different vender and see if that helps. That piece just doesn’t seem wide enough.
