I don't even see how you could do an index. Most of the pages have the detail information at the bottom of the page whited out, including the page number, page title and assembly number information.

I am sure there must have been some reason for doing this, but it does make it very hard to find what you are looking for. I love the book also, but many times you just have to flip thru the pages looking at the pictures until you find what you are looking for.

Great resource, but not efficient. I use it in the "when all else fails, read the manual" methodology.
