Yes, the first pic is straight firing white LEDs.

I have a cluster with a tach and gauges, but pretty sure the lights are the same for all. There are only 4 lights that illuminate the gauges. There are other bulbs for turnsignals, high beam indicator, temp light and brake light. So, there are nine in all, but only 4 of them illuminate the gauges. The five that illuminate indicators/warning lights can just be done with cheapie straight firing nondimming LEDs with fine results. They can be red or green as needed, but white works too since they all have colored lenses to provide the green or red tint as required by each. The turnsignals use 1895 bulbs instead of wedge based 194's so you need at least two kinds to do them all. The heater controls take an 1895 as well. If you have a lighter with a light, it too uses an 1895.
