Re: Parking light question.
The 69 and newer trucks were wired to have the parking lights on anytime the light switch is in park or on headlights. Yours should be on with the headlights. The switch in you truck might have been changed to an older style. This picture shows the older style.
And this one is the newer style. See the note on terminal 7
