I swapped crossmember from an '84 onto my '69. I had to drill one hole on each side, and enlarge one hole on each side...easy. I used the p/s box from the '84, as well as pulled all brake lines, porportioning valve to swap the brakes over from the non-power drums. It was an easy swap.
I did find when adding the '69 p/booster & master cylinder, that the '84 brake line fittings going to the m/cyclinder were reversed from the '69 m/cylinder. I bought adapter fittings to correct this. It works fine.
