Personally, I think the fuel door in the bed is cool, but that's just me. I'm into elegant, simple solutions. Chevrolet was so not into fuel doors in the exterior sheet metal that they ran them out the tail lights in '56 and '57. My Mustang tank is in, so I'm committed.
