Re: 2 Faced Truck

I'm wondering what would be involved in making a real two-faced truck that's street legal.

Two drivetrains, each one driving a front axle. It would be nice if the front axle being driven was the one under the opposite end. To do so, would require either axles or t-cases from a newer driver's side drop truck. I'd want an electric interlock on the steering column(could be added next to the steering gear), that only unlocks when that end is driving. Brakes would be plumbed into both master cylinders. Brake bias might be an issue. Marker lights would have a clear lens with amber and red bulbs in sufficient amount for both tail-lights and marker lights. The electrical system would be designed so that one end could not be shifted into gear until it knows that the other steering system is locked out.
