do you have a plan for the mini tubs? if fabbing yourself you might think of using a steel trailer fender, they are 16ga steel and come in a 9" width usually so you could get both sides done from a single fender. cut the correct width from each side and fill the center part, where the wheels go, with some sheet 16ga. just a thought.
your project is looking good. love the wheel/paint combo.
