Yea, a COE is different because of the obvious; Cab Over Engine. The cab rides on top of the frame. Again, I could be wrong, but I think the AD's outer frame measurements are somewhere around 42" and a modern dually is a whole lot wider than that. I have a 92 3500, if I remember I'll measure it tomorrow. But, the frame is pretty much directly under the door sills.
