At least ryanroo stepped back and thought about things before asking about a bmw diesel swap.
You can do anything you want, just depends how much money you have. I doubt many people here have the money and time that would be involved with a electronically controlled BMW diesel swap.
Neat? yes. Practical? No. Cost effective? No and it never will be.
For what that engine will cost you can buy a new VM motori v-6 smog legal crate engine and trans and probably have more power too.
