You will need to cut down the bump stops. An arm swap is when you swap to the 73-87 stuff. I have done this on my last few trucks. It gives little bigger ball joints, tie rods and rubber bushings in the control arm shafts. It can also give you 5 lug and disc brakes at a low cost. A good donor truck gives you the power steering stuff and all the suspension parts.
