I rattle canned my truck's interior. Took 9 cans and a bunch of prep work.

My only advice would be that there are a bunch of rivet marks and other areas that aren't ready for gloss black and will stick out pretty good.
You could, I suppose, buy a small can of bondo and fill these areas before painting.
I used a flat finish on mine, except for the steering column and e-brake lever.
