I would love paint the bottom of my cab and be done with it.
You would probably need a really big fluid tip even with the hair sized micro spheres. Not sure the finish quality would be very good with that much fluid volume but it is worth a shot though. I think they might keep the needle tip from closing off the nozzle when you let off the trigger. It could get messy.

I would do a test panel using the high hump tunnel cover and play around. This way you could mix a small amount of paint as a test and not have a tough part to scrape clean if things don't work out.
