It's a mixed blessing. On one hand you shift in to 4 hi or 4lo and after a few feet the hubs lock, and your on your way. Down side to unlock you have to switch into 2 hi and drive in reverse for about 20 ft to unlock. I had them(auto hubs) on an 85 blazer and swapped them for a set made by warn(manual), took maybe half an hour. The manual hub, I guess give you a more positive feeling that they are engaged, since you have to turn them to lock them. I guess it will depend on what you do with the burb.

1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed.

1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm
