That's why I always discourage trying to use the '88 and up frames as well as the '73-'87 frames. They just don't fit right, without
a lot of work. IMO the '61 won't help you that much. What I would suggest is trying to find a '63-'72 frame. But before you sink another penny into that project, be sure you know what the laws are in your province regarding switching frames on a truck. Here in Idaho, you need titles for both as well as bills of sales for them. Otherwise your vehicle is subject to being confiscated and likely crushed.
