I cut the flanges off mine and expanded the pipe to slip over the collector. I happen to have a 3" exhaust so it worked for me, but if you are going from a 3" collector to say, a 2.5" pipe, you can use the slip over adaptors. I also use the band styly stainless exhaust clamps. No leaky here anymore.
