This has been discussed on other threads, but here it goes. 327 185 hp 2 BBL truck engine first introduced on C 50- C60 trucks in '62. This engine became a SPECIAL ORDER option on C 20-C 30's under COPO (Central Office Production Order ) around early '64 to early '65. During early '65 it was replaced with new 220 hp 4BBL version and became a REGULAR ORDER option on C 20's and C 30s only. For the '66 model year, it became a regular option on all C 10 thru 30's.
