If you have a trailing arm truck you should have the light duty carrier bearing.
Unlike the guy with the leaf spring truck that has a hd carrier bearing and a slip in the rear shaft that will compensate for any change in length your rear shaft is solid. I would. Loosen the carrier bearing mounting bolts, set the truck at its new ride height with weight on the suspesion then retighten the bolts to prevent any preload stress on the ld carrier bearing rubber. It wouldn't hurt to clean up that trans yoke either.
