Cam change in a ls is fairly simple...but seeing as to how you've never done it before get someone that has to give you a hand..they make hp easily with very little..a good cam and headers with a good dyno tune is awsome...check out btr cams..they have stage 1, 2, 3 setups..I'd recommend bying the swap kit if you go that route..check out utube for how they sound...I'm fixing to dump a stage 3 in my ls3..consider swapping the oil pump and a few gaskets and you will be good to go..but whatever you decide put it on a dyno..
