I got lucky on mine. I had wanted to buy mine 6 years ago, but my neighbor beat me to it. Fast forward and I had already bought my wife a documented 145k 71 F250 like her dad had when she was growing up (Ford family as my FIL worked for the same Ford dealer body shop for 37+ years) that is stupid clean. My neighbor drove by this spring when I was working on it and we talked about me being a car guy and discussed his impending sale of the 71 C10 he beat me to. July 5th he came by in it and said it was for sale. At $1200 I was in and ran inside to tell the wife. Knowing I had been looking for the right one/time for 15 years, her only question was how much. I said the only problem was the price. She laughed and said do it. The deal is her F250 stays as it is and I have to keep up the work on it then I can do what I want on the C10...No brainer! I grew up with the 67-72 trucks. #Housedivided
