650 is one thing and a 1000 is another thing. Just the racer in me but for that level I would be looking at an aftermarket block along with the rest. You need to decide early on boost or NA. Everything gets built around that choice. Boosted will get you there with less cubic inches. Then there is everything that goes with it, trans, drive line, chassis and brakes.
