How did you line up the fuel fill door to the tank fill (to cut the hole in the right spot) and how did you fit it on the bed floor corrugations? Are there just gaps for the low areas? I am pretty close to installing mine and have been contemplating the best plan of attack.
I had the bed completely disassembled and installed the tank then set the bed floor on and lined it up and measured like crazy then drilled pilot holes until I was dead center of the cap. Then removed the floor and hole saw the diameter I needed for the fuel door. From there I didn't just leave gaps, I did lots of sheet metal work to end the floor ridges so the cap was sitting on a flat area. It was all extremely tedious to center on a ridge and dodge the bed floor braces. Install was tricky. Put fill adaptor on tank and left hole exposed in bed then set bed on chassis and installed cap last.
