Re: Fix and Sale 72 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4 K2500

Well I was able to repair the heater core bottom tube that came lose. Cleaned it up real well with cleaner then I sanded with perforated emery cloth made for copper pipe installation. Cleaned it again, smeared on some flux paste and fired up the mapp gas and soldered it back on. Then I drove the truck down the street to the local automotive repair garage where they work on everything from brand new cars to old school hotrods. I know the owner and trust them with any of my vehicles. I had them go over the motor to see if I am missing anything or if they see anything that needs immediate attention. Always nice to have second set of eyed on it.

While the GMC is over at the local garage for a few days I decided to go over to storage lot and drag home the next project, the 69 Light Blue K10. Went over and removed the stock front bumper and bolted on my tow bumper that I use with a tow dolly I have. Pulled it home with my 67 C20 and put it in the driveway to power wash and begin to make a list of the items I will need to complete the project. Here is a picture of it after power washing.
