I am in the same boat, and the photo of the green truck is actually a set of the bushwhacker types that are plastic but painted to match. They also have the wheel opening cut to fit if that gives you a better idea of it.

There have been other guys that used front fenders and body worked them onto the rears to have a more symmetrical look, albeit much harder to fabricate (and find front fenders in good shape). Below is a picture of what I am talking about that RTech had built.
