I cut about a 1 1/2 inch out of the lower rails. And put in a 20 gallon 1969 f*rd mustang gas tank in. Fits very nice I think. I'm planning to support the tank with a steel frame and support the frame with a rear c-channel if its needed. Love the low profile look of the tank. It sits up high, and I like the bed fill.
