Not everybody has an appreciation for computer controlled engines.
Personally I would never do that with an old truck. Seems blasphemous to me. Not to mention, I'm still getting a used engine with an unknown history if I do a swap like that, or the cost seriously balloons to get a new or rebuilt LS.
