Re: The Old Mule - 64 BBW

Coming home from work last night, stopped by to fill up the MUle with Petrol. As I was leaving, during my shift to 2nd the whole shift felt weird and the Mule would not come out of 1st. Luckily it was only about 3 miles to the house through residential areas, so at 25-30 in 1st the engine was not wound too tight.

Had no idea what it was, but it had to wait till today because

1. I am to fat to get under it's low belly
2. It was too hot (outside and exhaust) to grab anything.

Got under it today, and turns out the bolt that holds the shift assembly to the transmission came loose, so the shifter was just flopping around on the bolt and not engaging the arms. New lock washer, some loctite and we are all good again.

I also did the windshield arm changeover today that was mentioned in this thread.

They came out great. Since I don't have the stainless windshield trim, the black arms look really good. I always had trouble with the blades coming loose from the arm, so this looks like a good option.

I didn't have my phone or camera, but I'll get some shots of the new arms later.

So from dead to Kick a**. Time to go driving!
