Based on the numbers that are stamped into it, I believe the block is a 1974 vintage. From what I've learned recently, the '73 on up (truck) engine blocks had the long water pump which used a threaded boss on the water pump as the mounting point for the power steering pump instead of the block like most 67-72 models.
