I have done a few of the AFC bolts before ... I was talking about all the rivets in the Chassis ... I'm going to remove all the rivets from the frame ... I allways thought they were a higher quality then they really are .
I did front body mounts because I am gong to plate the inside of the frame in that area ... I'm going 1/4 plate from the shock mounting area down past the trans cross member .
I will build my own new upper spring bushing mount to fix the 1/4 offset . That area is the weakest point on these trucks ... Plus I am boxing and plating the rest of the front frame section .
Just changed my mind on the springs I am going to use ... I was going to use a 8 inch skyjacker , I was talking to Jeff at Deaver springs , he's going to build me a pair of custom 52" fronts ... I 'll have to move the rear upper spring mount back 4.5" ... That should be no problem .
