I saw a really cool triple-deuce setup that I think Offy makes - three two bbl carbs in a row. This is supposedlyl especially useful because the stock carb placement causes cylinders 3 and 4 to run rich while 1 and 2 and 5 and 6 end up running lean - mostlyl because the carb sits right over cylinders 3 and 4.

All this info and more is in that issue of hot rod mag.

There are a lot of books out there on the topic. I was wanting to buy this one but never got to check it out at the store ( http://www.themotorbookstore.com/chevy6cyl.html )

There may be a lot of good information and thoughts in there for you - me and some of the guys had some good back and forth which would possibly shed some light no things for you. I really suggest giving it a read.

I really think inlines are novel. Cool toys to play with. If I had a 4x4 off-roader, I'd probably drop my stock inline into it (factory engine from my '68). I don't though ...
