I have that same block casting. I used the number stamped on the engine pad next to the distributor and the LMC truck parts 1967-1972 catalog has it identified as a 1971 or 1972 250ci from a truck.
There is also a date casting on mine that confirms conveyor #2 an 1971.
I would feel better if I could find another source to verify the info.
