I have some new info,
got a buddy who has a 81-87 chevy swb stepside he is running the following...
Mickey thompson 36x14.50's on 15 x10 or12 inch wheels.
He has a 4 inch superlift suspesnion lift, blocks in back, springs in front, and a 3 inch body lift. he has a good 3 inches or more of clearance, I do have pics and will post later.
