I know these 221’s are noisy animals, I wasn’t able to find a bearing kit locally, but may have a lead on one so I’ll probably go that route first before I swap it out. I’m not a big fan of the closed knuckle 44’s, having a hard time finding new wiper seals for it, and I heard brake parts are hard to come by these days.
I was searching for a clean 71/72 when I came across this ‘68, it was just so clean and unmolested I couldn’t walk away from it.
Thanks to all for your opinions, I really think I should try and keep this truck as close to factory as possible
