Is there consensus on any performance effects of how the carb faces?? (ie, primaries/secondaries facing ) To my (sometimes wrong) mind, the carb should face away from the head, so that the primary venturi are on the furthest most point of the plenum and balanced front to back. I will check on Inliners also... T Lowe has done a ton of dyno testing, I will see what he has found scientifically.

If the manifold is an open plentium the carb can sit in any direction if it's closed or separated then it has to sit one way only to work right...Vernski
