I think the problem that is causing the volt gauge swinging with the turns signal is not back by the tail lights or in front by the turn signals.

Your truck is not the only one with this problem.

I have never actually got to trace down the problem on one of the trucks doing this, but it is my opinion that the problem is in the instrument panel itself, the connector to the instrument panel, or the ground wire to it. This is just my educated guess. I have read several posts on the message boards about this and nobody has posted a repair for it.
