Okay, so bare metal is the way to go. The mobile guy uses a wet blasting with glass in it.

I have read numerous threads and the general consensus seemed to be the cheapo hf purple was good for primer. But I have no experience so If it will really cause a 60 gallon 12.85 @ 90 14.55@ 40psi to not keep up then I'll pass on it. I've got this one in my cart for the bc/cc,

1.8 tip is the proper one for primer though, correct?
