No PS would not be good on a 3/4 ton. I bought a 1969 1/2 ton a few years ago, when delivered I jumped in, took off and turned right to pull in the drive and almost ran over my mailbox. I had bought a new 69 in the fall of 1968 when I was in my 20"s with no PS, it was no big thing then, but I'm sure I've lost some muscle over the years. Power Steering was the first improvement I made to this truck.
