Just spoke with the KS tag office they say keep all the paper work and they will issue a new vin to the truck. Man I don't want to have a 17 digit or how ever long they are now vin number. May be easier to just drill out the 71's vin and slap on the 67 tag in the restore process or just use the pilar the vin is on on the 71 who knows. What would you all do get the new vin or just let the next buyer know in advance what had been done.
