Re: 1963 VW Convertible Build

I've put about 450 miles on it so far. No suprises at the first oil change or valve adjustment, that's always a relief on a fresh engine build. It's a little too low for our roads (2.5 fingers at the convertible support rails) so it scrapes in and out of driveways but it's not undriveable. I just got a new phone with a better camera so I need to take better pics of it now that it's "finished". I still need to button up a few small details like paint matching the window handle buffers and dash grab handle, adjusting the ebrake handle, and swapping out the floor mat padding with something that doesn't allow the mats to slide as easily.
