1 Wire vs 3 Wire Alternator.....
1972 K10 Burb W/a 1971 350, HEI
I am having issues with my charging system, I was told that 1 wire is the way to go.
If I go to the 1 wire and get one at higher than 100 amps, will i be able to run a stereo, nothing crazy just a Retro sound with 4-6 speakers.
is it worth it to just Un-F the three wire system, 3 people have tried to tackle it and it seems lost.
Alternator: Good
Battery: New
Current: Closed: No draw.
Regulator: New
The hot wire is hot.
The fuses under the hood are good.
The blue wire is hot
The ground is in place.
ANY input would be appreciated.
