So naturally he spent about 5 minutes tightening a couple fittings, leaks were stopped and did a thorough job of making me look foolish for fighting this for so long. Anyway, we then bled the brakes and I left it with him to cobble up a parking brake system since all I had were rear cables for a mid 70s 3/4 ton and the cable from the handle and the pivots. I think he did an admirable job given what he had to work with. And it works! And I now have brakes!
