It's your truck, so you obviously don't have to listen to anyone else, but I want to suggest something that might be a bit more appealing. If you're wanting a black housing and a projector, take a look at Dapper Lighting. They aren't cheap either, but they use OEM projectors in their housings, so you know the light pattern will be good. They also look a lot more like the originals than the JW Speaker design (I think they fit the era better, but that's just my opinion). Here's a single 7" V2 in black. I'm running these in chrome on my 71 and I absolutely love them. Just an idea for you to consider.


They do have other designs you can look at too.
