There was a local news report last night about a guy the was buying a vehicle through craigslist, the buyer did a wire transfer for the down payment, and then could never get in touch with the seller again. The news reporter found the images of the car he was trying to buy on an add over a year old too! (2008 Honda Accord for 2k with 70,000 miles) too good to be true.
I wonder why someone would send money to a seller, with out seeing the vehicle first? Or spending time on the phone with them to ensure, like some long distance truck deals, that they are legit?
