Not really an electrical question, hence the post here.

I know the wiring is different, but will a CS144 alternator physically fit the stock brackets on a (short water-pump) 350SBC? I've read that these alternators are bigger externally than the stock alternators, but couldn't find anything about if they fit (without mods) after a search here.
